We are so excited about our SUMMER 2026! 
Each week has a special theme - campers will participate in games, snacks, and crafts related to the theme! There will be plenty of fun, games, and music each week!

Roots Academy students age 4 and completed VPK who are full time students will enjoy our summer camp weekly themes with special crafts and activities related to each week's theme.

Roots Academy offers summer camp for children age 4 - each week they will join in the weekly camp themes and activities - they will be with our preschool students and not with the campers age group 5-11.

All The Info

  • Days and Times: Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:30pm

  • Location: 2050 St Johns Parkway at Roots Church and Academy

  • Full Day Camp Tuition: $300 per camper. ($190 3 days - $130 2 days)

    • Extended before and after care hours all weeks 7:00am-6:00pm included in camp tuition – no fee

  • Camp Tuition Includes: camp t-shirt, games, popsicles on hot days, crafts to go with weekly theme, special guests related to weekly theme, water balloons, field trips, and more

  • Discounts: 10% off sibling discount FEES: 3% credit or debit card fee

  • Fees: Tuition paid with a debit or credit card will incur a 3% fee. Tuition paid with ACH bank account has no fee.

  • Payments: Payments are to be made with ProCare and due Friday before the next week of camp.

  • Extended Care: Before and after care hours all weeks 7:00am-6:00pm – Included in the camp tuition.

  • Ages: girls and boys ages 5-11 (groups by age, you may request to be with a friend) (counselor in training program ages 12-14) (4 year olds $285 per week will be enrolled at Roots Preschool)

  • Field Trips: Weekly field trips included in tuition to local parks, museums, theaters. Transportation provided by SJCS buses and bus drivers. Field trips are usually on Tuesdays and parks include water splash pad play. 

  • What to Bring: Lunch and 2 snacks (pack each day except on Friday (Pizza day lunch provided), water bottle, tennis shoes work best , girls hair up for cheer week, bug spray if preferred, sunscreen as needed – on Wednesday come to camp in bathing suit and bring towel ages 4-11.

  • Water Wednesday: Wednesday of camp we will be having water games and activities onsite outside and a giant waterslide. Wear bathing suit to camp on Wednesday and bring towel

  • Pizza Party Friday: Pepperoni or cheese pizza included each Friday of camp.

  • Final Day of Cheer Camp Week: Performance at 3pm in Roots Church auditorium

  • Staff: Roots Academy staff, trained college, high school and middle school students, (cheerleaders and dancers for Cheer week) -(CPR trained)

  • Indoor/Outdoor: we are indoors and outdoors, – wear sunscreen and bug spray daily if preferred.

  • Allergies: We watch any campers with allergies closely and accommodate peanut-free zone.

  • Roots Camp Refund Policy: Roots camp refund policy: camp withdrawal requests 2 weeks (14 days prior or more) prior to a camp session’s start date will receive a refund for 50% of the camps tuition fee for that week or session or may opt to have 100% of the amount credited towards another Roots summer camp session or program. No monetary refunds will be issued 13 days or less prior to a camp’s start date.
